Three separate shipwrecks in the Mediterranean in the last week are thought to have claimed the lives of more than 700 people who were trying to reach Europe, according to the UN’s refuge agency. The incidents happened on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after thousands set sail from Libya for Italy in an eight-day period. Carlotta Sami, a spokeswoman for UNHCR, told AP on Sunday that an estimated 100 people were missing from a smugglers’ boat which capsized Wednesday.

Israel have released a threatening video, warning Europe that if they don’t stop their boycott campaign against Israel, their continent will be obliterated. The video, released by a pro-Israel PR firm, depicts ISIS militants destroying European cities with Jerusalem’s blessing.

EU leaders are bracing themselves for a future European Union without the UK, holding high-level meetings to decide the future of the Bloc amid a possible Brexit vote.  The leaders of Italy, France, Germany, Belgium and other core members discussed a “plan B” option on its future without the UK, and said that Europe would resolve to become a closer union with a strengthened army if Britain left. Independent.co.uk reports: Officials expect a punitive approach to Britain, with an official meeting of 27 leaders – excluding David Cameron – expected shortly after a potential Brexit vote.
