Trump's Decision To Terminate Comey Is Now Delaying His Economic Reform Schedule

In JPM's initial market comment this morning, reacting to the news of Comey firing, the bank said that "as far as the market is concerned, Comey’s dismissal saps Trump’s political capital and weakens relations w/Congress at the time when he is trying to move an ambitious pro-growth agenda through the Senate and House." What JPM was referring to was the potential of substantial incremental delays now facing Trump's parallel reforms, healthcare on one hand and tax reform on the other.

The Food and Drug Administration has finalized its plan to bring electronic cigarettes under its authority. Among other changes—such as a ban on sales to minors, a step that some states haven’t yet taken on their own—this means that nearly every e-cigarette product will need to go through the FDA approval process. Each flavor and device will require a separate application, and each application will cost hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to complete.

Stock Up On Nutritional Supplements Before Attorney General Bans Them

The U.S. Justice Department have joined forces with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in an attempt to completely ban nutritional supplements in the United States.  Attorney General Loretta Lynch recently warned consumers that “ingesting substances whose safety and efficacy are not guaranteed” – citing a biased FDA study to back up her claims.

One Million Pounds Of Rat Meat Found In Chicken Wings In U.S.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are concerned over an estimated one million pounds of counterfeit rat meat being sold as chicken wings that have made its way into fast food restaurants and grocery stores in America.  The FDA say they have found several containers originating from China seized by customs in San Fransisco, that contained rat meat destined to various meat processing plants across the U.S. and resold as chicken.
