The War on ISIS Expands to Libya

The New York Times rightly objects to the planned expansion of the war on ISIS to Libya:

The Pentagon is ramping up intelligence-gathering in Libya as the Obama administration draws up plans to open a third front in the war against the Islamic State. This significant escalation is being planned without a meaningful debate in Congress about the merits and risks of a military campaign that is expected to include airstrikes and raids by elite American troops.

ISIS Funded With ‘Turkish Money’ Says Israel’s Defense Minister

The Israeli defense minister Moshe Ya’alon said that ISIS has been funded with Turkish money for a long time. He said that Turkey supports terror instead of combating it and has permitted ISIS to enjoy “Turkish money for oil”. Speaking to reporters in Athens on Tuesday,  Ya’alon said: “As you know, Daesh enjoyed Turkish money for oil for a very, very long period of time.

Snowden: ISIS ‘Encrypted’ Message Is Fake

Edward Snowden has revealed that the ‘encrypted email’ featured at the end of the latest ISIS video, is in fact a fake.  In the video, ISIS claim that Britain is next on their list of places to terrorise, and urge jihadists to commit lone wolf attacks across Europe. Snowden says that the coded messages at the end of the video are fake, suggesting that the video itself may also be fraudulent, and possibly the result of Western propaganda.

New ISIS Video Features Paris Attackers: “Britain Will Be Next”

A newly released video by ISIS titled “Kill Them Wherever You Find Them,” threatens the UK with a Paris style attack. The video purports to feature eight of the Paris attackers, including Abdelhamid Abaaoud.  The video shows the attackers killing ISIS prisoners, proving that Paris attackers spent time being radicalized by ISIS in Iraq and Syria before the November 13 attacks. The video ends on a coded message encrypted using PGP (Pretty Great Privacy) a data encryption and decryption computer programme. They have challenged the world to decrypt it before their next attack.
