The recent anti-Semitism which-hunt in the Labour Party will have far reaching consequences for the party and politics in the UK. Besides putting in place pressure to stifle criticism of Israel, it also subjects the Palestinians to suffer quietly, for even words would not be permitted to direct conversation and action towards their plight. In the meantime men of honour will be humiliated, freedom curtailed and anti-Semitism used as a baton to bash the Palestinians and their supporters, both figuratively and literally, at home and abroad, for the ever present needs of Israel.

The Labour party has suspended Ken Livingstone “for bringing the party into disrepute” after MPs accused him of antisemitism and making offensive comments about Hitler supporting Zionism. The former mayor of London and veteran politician said that the accusations of antisemitism were part of a campaign against the Labour leader. “Frankly, there’s been an attempt to smear Jeremy Corbyn and his associates as antisemitic from the moment he became leader.

To my British and American friends who must deal with the socialist nonsense of Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, I found this poem. It was written by Rudyard Kipling, the writer most hated by English Socialists in the 40s and an opponent to the interventionist policies implemented by the Labour Party after the second world war:

MP Simon Danczuk has been suspended by the Labour party following allegations that he ‘sexted’ a 17-year-old girl in his constituency. The Sun newspaper alleges that Danczuk, exchanged explicit messages with teenager Sophena Houlihan after she contacted him to ask for a job as a case worker in his office. On Twitter, the Rochdale MP said the story was “not entirely accurate” but referred to “an extremely low point” in his life. RT reports: Danczuk has been a prominent campaigner against child sexual exploitation and played a role in exposing the late Sir Cyril Smith as a pedophile.
