While Donald Trump has been consumed by concerns of halting dangerous foreigners from entering the US, the opposite happened on Monday morning, when eleven people walked through an unscreened security lane at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and reprotedly boarded flights to unknown destinations, officials told NBC News. In a total breakdown of security protocol, none of the 11 were checked by Transportation Safety Administration personnel, an airport official and senior law enforcement official said.

Amid judicial blockages, and rogue border agents, it appears the Trump administration is still trying its best to follow through on its campaign promises to crackdown on illegal immigration. As Reuters reports, The Department of Homeland Security has prepared new guidance for immigration agents aimed at speeding up deportations by denying asylum claims earlier in the process.

A dozen high profile arrests have been made in Florida in a child sex sting involving an army colonel, a politician and a top attorney.  In the last week, police in North Florida arrested a dozen men seeking to engage in sexual acts with children. Tallahassee.com reports: One was a college student. One, Michael Chmielewski, was the manager of the Florida House of Representatives page and messenger program who oversaw hundreds of teenagers each legislative session since he was hired in 2012.

Prosecutor Michael O’Malley has uncovered evidence of over 70 child pedophile cases that were deliberately ignored by authorities in Cleveland.  According to O’Malley, authorities in Cleveland ignored around 70 rape and sexual assault crimes involving children. Morningjournal.com reports: “There was a conscious decision (by prosecutors) to make some of these cases inactive,” O’Malley said. “It’s outrageous.” The problem was first reported Monday by Cleveland.com.

Child rapist Roman Polanski says he plans to return to the United States as long as the government assures him that he will not have to serve jail time for his crimes. The award-winning director has asked the U.S. government, via his attorney Harland Braun, to confirm that he will not have to serve prison time for unlawfully having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977. Yahoo News reports: Braun has written to Los Angeles County Superior Court judge Scott Gordon to unseal a secret transcript of the testimony of the prosecutor in the Polanski case, which he believes will confirm the deal.
