Before the lynching of The Donald proceeds, what exactly was it he said about that Hispanic judge?

Stated succinctly, Donald Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over a class-action suit against Trump University, is sticking it to him. And the judge’s bias is likely rooted in the fact that he is of Mexican descent.

Can there be any defense of a statement so horrific?

Just this. First, Trump has a perfect right to be angry about the judge’s rulings and to question his motives. Second, there are grounds for believing Trump is right.

It has been a difficult day for Donald Trump, with virtually everyone, enemies as well as alleged allies coming down on him like a ton of bricks over his comments about Judge Gonzalo Curiel's alleged bias and prejudice against him. Just moments ago, The Hill issued an article titled "GOP aghast as Trump doubles down" in which it writes that "a defiant Donald Trump is refusing to backtrack over racially charged remarks he made last week, and the controversy has opened up a major divide between the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and senior GOP leaders.

A civil servant has been killed after being hit by a student who jumped to his death from an apartment building in the city of Gwangju, South Korea. Yang Dae-jin, 39, was killed when the 25-year-old student jumped from the 20th floor of an apartment building on Tuesday, The Sunshine Coast Daily reports: Mr Dae-jin sustained severe injuries to his head and later died in hospital. The student was killed instantly. The civil servant was on his way home with his pregnant wife and five-year-old son in Gwangju, South Korea.
