Tony Blair Wants to Rebuild His Career on the Back of Brexit

Via The Daily Bell

Tony Blair on Friday announced his “mission” to get Brits who voted to remain in the European Union to “rise up in defense of what we believe” while accusing the government of being “obsessed with Brexit” and bemoaning the lack of an effective opposition. In his first major speech since the EU referendum, the former prime minister told an audience in the City of London that people were misinformed when they voted for Brexit and that he wanted to “build support for finding a way out from the present rush over the cliff’s edge.”

Uber's Former Chief Policy Adviser Fined $90,000 For Illegally Lobbying Chicago's Rahm Emmanuel

The idea of playing by the rules is a tough concept to grasp for some politicians, particularly those with ties to the ever-corrupt city of Chicago.  So when David Plouffe, Obama's former campaign manager and then Chief Policy Advisor for Uber, sent an email to Chicago's Mayor Rahm Emmanuel seeking assistance in fighting rules that would block Uber from picking up passengers at Chicago's airports, he probably thought his illegal lobbying efforts would go unnoticed.

Senator Wants To Ban Mandatory Human Microchips

A Nevada lawmaker has proposed a new bill that would make mandatory implanting of computer microchips in humans a Class C felony. The idea of microchipping humans does not sit well with Republican Sen. Becky Harris of Las Vegas who has raised concerns over potential privacy and autonomous rights violations. She wants the new industry regulated before it gets too far ahead of itself. To track humans, a microchip is embedded in the body that collects information and allows for seamless interaction with a person like a doctor or a device such as a locked car.

Submitted by Patrick Buchanan via Buchanan.org,

When Gen. Michael Flynn was forced to resign as national security adviser, Bill Kristol purred his satisfaction, “If it comes to it, prefer the deep state to the Trump state.”

To Kristol, the permanent regime, not the elected president and his government, is the real defender and rightful repository of our liberties.

Yet it was this regime, the deep state, that carried out what Eli Lake of Bloomberg calls “The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn.”
