My view of Trump is conditional and awaits evidence. I am encouraged by the One Percent’s opposition to Trump, or we have just experienced the greatest ruse in history. Indeed, a pointless ruse, as the Establishment had its candidate in Hillary.
Why has Apple started removing Iran-based apps from its App Store? Iranian iOS Apps which facilitate transactions for businesses and entities based in Iran have started disappearing from the App Store. The US tech giant opened up its App Store to the Iranians in September 2016. Reports over the weekend suggest that one of the largest e-commerce start-ups in the Middle East, Iran’s Digikala service had its app removed by Apple. “Unfortunately, there is no App Store available for the territory of Iran,” according to Apple.
Full out war between Democrats and the White House broke out today when Senate Democrats on Tuesday refused to attend a committee vote on two President Trump’s more controversial nominees, effectively delaying their consideration. Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee boycotted votes to advance Tom Price, Trump’s pick to head the Department of Health and Human Services, and Steven Mnuchin, his selection to head the Treasury Department.
House Democrats wasted no time in slamming President Trump's decision to fire the nation's top law enforcer after she refused to carry out his directives barring refugees and those traveling from Muslim-majority countries. In a Monday night political thriller, the White House said former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates "betrayed" the Justice Department at the threat of national security and was ousted just hours after she ordered DOJ lawyers not to enforce Trump's immigration order.
