While this should come as a shock to precisely no one other than some disaffected Hillary supporters who were hoping for a miracle, Jill Stein's request for a full "hand recount" in the state of Wisconsin has officially been denied by Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn.  According to the StarTribune, the request was denied after the judge found that Stein failed to show any mistakes or irregularities that would bring a machine recount into question.

Following chatter that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was in line for Interior Secretary, ABC News reports that President-Elect Trump is considering her to lead Veterans Affairs.

The Kremlin expect President Erdogan to clarify his goals in Syria after he claimed that Turkish troops were there to end the rule of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Russian officials say that the Turkish presidents statement yesterday contradicts his previous assurances and is out of sync with Moscow’s take on the situation. European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker issued a warning to Austrian presidential candidate Norbert Hofer, regarding referendums.

Hofer, an anti-immigration, candidate is in a tight race for the election coming up on December 4.

If he wins, Hofer said he would hold in-out referendums if Brussels seeks to expand it power.

Just a day after Goldman COO Gary Cohn unexpectedly met with Donald Trump, he is now said to be "weighing a future outside the firm" the WSJ reports. According to Dow Jones, the bank's "Number 2", who met with Trump on Tursday, has had conversations in recent months about leaving the bank.
