Following Trump's first official meeting with a foreign leader on Thursday night (one which took place in Trump's apartment at the Trump Tower), Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Trump was a trustworthy leader in comments after his first meeting with the U.S. President-elect, whose statements on trade and security have sparked concern in Japan. Abe told reporters that he had frank discussions in a “warm atmosphere” at Trump Tower, and said he explained his views on a range of issues, but declined to comment on the substance of the talks in a meeting that lasted more than an hour.

Maine governor Paul LePage thinks that people of color are the enemy of his state and seems to suggest that they should be shot. The Republican governor of Maine has been criticized for his remarks. Talking about Maine’s drug problem, governor Paul LePage said that “the enemy right now… are people of color or people of Hispanic origin“. Statistics show otherwise. White people commit 5 out of every 6 drug related offences, involving its sale or manufacture in Maine. “You shoot at the enemy.

Hillary Clinton has been taking heat for her relationship with the Clinton Foundation. Did individuals and firms making large donations to the Foundation, or paying large speaking or consulting fees to Bill Clinton, get preferred access to Ms. Clinton as Secretary of State? Is there a revolving door between the Clinton campaign and the Foundation’s fundraising staff? Are these relationships the subject of the emails she deleted from her private server?
