With his last two opponents, Ted Cruz and John Kasich, out of the race, Donald Trump is now the presumptive nominee for president of the Republican Party. As Kublai Khan conquered the ancient Song Empire of China to become its first barbarian emperor, Trump swooped down and conquered the once-mighty party of Lincoln. Now that party has to figure out how to respond.

The United States tried to include areas captured by the al-Nusra Front terrorist group in Syria’s Aleppo in a recently established ‘silent period‘ according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Lavrov told Sputnik news that this was bought up during ceasefire negotiations between Moscow and Washington. Al Qaeda in Syria calls itself “Al Nusra” and they along with Daesh terrorists are not covered by the US-Russian-brokered ceasefire agreement in Syria.

With her country's political landscape shifting significantly before her, Angela Merkel has now put her political hat on in order to survive politically in Germany.

As France 24 reports, Angela Merkel is urging European Leaders to protect the EU's external borders or risk a "return to nationalism." Merkel said the "freedom of movement" in Europe is at stake as it deals with the worst migration crisis since WWII.

Anonymous have begun their month-long campaign against the world’s biggest banks, and have set their sights on the Bank of England as their top target.  The hacktivist group have warned that big banks worldwide will see their power “come crashing down”. Express.co.uk reports: The eerie threat came as the group started its thirty-day campaign against international banks with an attack on the central bank of Greece.

Ken Livingston Calls Israel ‘A Great Catastrophe’

Former London mayor Ken Livingston has said that he believes the creation of Israel to be “fundamentally wrong,” and “a great catastrophe”.  According to Ken, the existence of the country in the Middle East could lead the world into a nuclear war. Timesofisrael.com reports: “The creation of the state of Israel was fundamentally wrong, because there had been a Palestinian community there for 2,000 years,” Livingstone told an Arabic language TV station based in London, in a clip posted and translated by the watchdog MEMRI group.
