As part of Donald Trump's ongoing quest to halt leaks from within his administration, the White House may ban its employees from using personal mobile phones while at work. The move is expected to "raise concerns among staff including that they’ll be cut off from family and friends" according to five administration officials who leaked the proposed ban to Bloomberg, probably on their mobile phones.
Just hours after Sen. Rand Paul announced he would vote 'yes' on the Senate's tax-reform plan, handing the White House a win, a second Republican senator has publicly declared his intention to vote against the bill, joining Wisconsin's Ron Johnson in opposition.
And that senator is: Montana's Steve Daines.

Since President Donald Trump took office in January, the GOP Congressional leadership has repeatedly failed to corral the votes needed to transform the president’s legislative agenda into law, largely thanks to the Republicans’ razor-thin majority in the senate, which has bred factionalism and encouraged senators to play hardball to try and strong-arm the leadership into concessions.
The Catalan push for independence appears to be fizzling at the grass roots level, at least according to the latest poll published by El Pais newspaper on Monday, which found that not even a quarter of Catalans want to continue with the push to claim independence from Spain in the wake of Dec. 21 regional elections.
