There is no way we could be sure that preventive actions would not set off a second Korean War

The European Union recorded the largest increase in slavery of any world region in 2017, with the arrival of more than 100,000 migrants, many of them extremely vulnerable to exploitation, analysts said on Thursday. As KeepTalkingGreece.com reports, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria are the countries with the most slave labour within the EU.

Statista's Niall McCarthy notes that according to a poll by The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, only a quarter of Americans favored using U.S. ground troops to help South Korea repel an invasion by the North back in 1990.

Families at a popular Spanish beach were shocked yesterday when an inflatable raft carrying dozens of migrants from Northern Africa suddenly washed ashore.  As can be seen in the following onlooker's video, the migrants fled the boat before it reached dry land and ran inland in an effort to evade authorities.

According to the Daily Mail, the migrants arrived in Cadiz in Southern Spain and managed to disperse before being captured by police.

Around 200,000 US troops are stationed in 177 countries throughout the world. The forces use several hundred bases, more than 1,000 if the figure includes overseas warehouse and installations. The US may need more soon, with its presence and involvement in armed conflicts on the rise.
