As a liberty writer and economist I have been working within the alternative media for almost 20 years now. I was there at the inception of what we consider the modern counter-media movement, when a scattering of radio hosts, writers and video bloggers started to come together to create perhaps the greatest unsung information revolution in decades. It was this era in which the mainstream corporate news started to lose their audience by the millions.

In August, the news arrived that United States military forces and assets had been removed from Niger. Writing about this development, I opined on August 6 that “the US would be well served to start initiating the withdrawal of its military from many additional countries.” A month later, it looks like an agreement is in place for such a withdrawal from another country — Iraq.

A Gallup poll conducted in July found for the first time that less than a majority of surveyed Americans think that it is “extremely important” that parents have their children vaccinated. Only 40 percent of polled individuals agreed with this assessment compared to the 64 percent high point of agreement expressed when the question was first asked in 2001.

In an August article detailing the poll results, Jeffrey M. Jones of Gallup pointed out that the decline in support for vaccinations of children comes almost entirely from Republicans and Republican-leaning independents:

Most Americans are long past obsessing about fear of coronavirus. But, the United States government won’t give up on promoting the repeated injecting of experimental coronavirus “vaccine” shots, which have turned out to be neither safe nor effective, into every person in the country. And, yes, that even includes babies for whom the risk of death from coronavirus has been virtually nil.

Many parents say “no” to the shots pushing. Still, each day the health of more babies is put at risk when their parents follow the government’s shady advice.
