Just when a few hours had passed without any escalation around the Korean Peninsula, The Guardian reports that the US military is considering shooting down North Korean missile tests as a show of strength to Pyongyang according to two sources briefed on the plans.

As the USS Carl Vinson heads towards the peninsula, along with two oither carriers, the Pentagon is looking for ways short of war to pressure North Korea into denuclearization, particularly if Pyongyang goes forward with an anticipated sixth nuclear test.

The Democratic Party and the mainstream media have thrown their full force behind the election of a 30-year-old political novice, Jon Ossoff, in a special election being held in Georgia today to fill the vacant Congressional seat of Tom Price who joined the Trump administration as Health and Human Services Secretary.

According to a new book, Hillary Clinton said that the 2016 presidential election was her "last race" after it became apparent she lost.

The Hill's Amie Parnes and Sidewire's Jonathan Allen write in "Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign" that on the night of the 2016 election, the former Democratic presidential nominee looked through the draft of her concession speech.

“Look, I really just want to concede gracefully, wish him the best, thank everybody, and get off the stage,” she said.
