Google has hired a 10,000 strong social justice army to flag sites from their search results that they deem “conspiracy”, “offensive”, or “fake news.” In a move to completely eradicate all traces of independent journalism and alternative media websites from the web, Google has begun the process of compiling a list of all offending sites so that they can “de-rank” them from their search results.
Yesterday it was the Republican head of the House Intelligence committee, Devin Nunes, who repeated what he first said last week, namely that his panel has still not received any evidence that President Trump was wiretapped during the election campaign. "As I told you last week about the issue with the president talking about tapping Trump Tower, that evidence still remains the same, that we don't have any evidence that that took place." Nunes told reporters.
While some were worried about an "unexpected outcome" from yesterday's Dutch general election, in the end the country's center-right Prime Minister Mark Rutte managed to fight off the challenge of anti-Islam, anti-EU rival Geert Wilders to score an election victory that was hailed across Europe on Thursday by governments facing a rising wave of nationalism.
It is fitting that just a few hours until the Fed's second rate hike in two quarters, and one day after Goldman downgraded global stocks to Neutral for the next 3 months, not to mention with the results of the anticipated Dutch election due shortly, that global stocks as well as S&P futures are higher, while crude oil has finally managed to stage a rebound as the Dollar DXY index is fractionally in the red.
