Survey: Scotland Is Not Religious

New research indicates that two thirds of Scots never attend Church or other religious services except for social reasons. The figure, which is the highest ever recorded, is the latest evidence that Scotland is now an overwhelmingly secular country. The majority are free from religion and show a lack of ideas and feelings towards belief, but maintain them for the daily mysteries of life.

Over 100 Refugee Children Missing Since ‘Calais Jungle’ Demolition

A British charity has revealed that over a hundred refugee children have gone missing from the Calais migrant camp after authorities demolished parts of the makeshift shelters last month. According to a census by Help Refugees UK, 129 unaccompanied minors from the camp have gone unaccounted for. “We are deeply shocked and very concerned to report that 129 unaccompanied minors cannot be accounted for,” the charity wrote on its Facebook page.

Two-Year-Old Twin Dies After Routine Vaccination

An 18-month old twin baby has died 24-hours after receiving a “routine vaccination” at the doctors office.  Shannon McDonald said she took her 2-year-old twins to the doctors to receive routine vaccinations, and the very next day one of the twins, Nevaeh Kennedy, was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead. McDonald told CTVnews.ca that she felt something was wrong the entire time. “Something in my chest was telling me,” McDonald told CTV Atlantic.

20 Percent Of The World Will be Obese by 2025 – Report

According to a new study more people in the world are obese than underweight, and by the year 2025 roughly 20 percent of the world’s population will be considered medically obese.  Analysis conducted by the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Risk Factor Collaboration looked at 19.2 million participants and discovered that the global obesity epidemic is set to become much, much worse. Tctmd.com reports: Researchers led by Mariachiara Di Cesare, PhD (Imperial College London, England), looked at BMI trends of adults living in 186 countries between 1975 and 2014.
