Billionaire Russian philanthropist Yuri Milner with the help of Professor Stephen Hawking and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook are planning to send a tiny spacecraft to Alpha Centauri. The light-propelled ‘nanocraft’ will travel to our closest neighboring star system at 20% the speed of light ‘sailing’ on laser rays.

A vast region of space in the distant universe is spinning in the same direction, stretching the laws of physics beyond their current limits. Astronomers at the University of Cape Town and University of the Western Cape have used deep radio imaging survey to capture radio waves emitted from jets of galaxies over a large volume of space in the distant universe.

Samsung has been granted a patent for smart contact lenses with built-in cameras that can project images directly into your eyes. According to a Samsung-focused tech blog called SamMobile, the patent application was filed in South Korea back in 2014. The patent includes a contact lens equipped with a display, a camera, an antenna, and several sensors that detect movement. The contact lens uses the antenna to link up to a smartphone, which processes the image sent into the eyes.   Mashable reports: A built-in camera and sensors are controlled by blinking.
