You can’t say you weren’t warned. The writing on the wall that “smart devices” would prove to be manna from heaven for spy agencies and hackers around the word has been obvious for a very long time.

Director of national intelligence, James Clapper, has revealed that US intelligence agencies are using various “smart home” devices in order to spy on citizens. The growing list of smart devices such as thermostats, cameras, and other appliances that are connected to the internet, provide authorities with the ability to spy on its citizens.
Researchers in Australia have developed the “holy grail” of biotechnology – a device that is capable of mind control in humans. The device is the size of a paper clip, and it sits inside a blood vessel next to the brain. Researchers say the tiny device may help people with paralysis to walk again, amongst other things. ABC.net.au reports: The stentrode, described as a “bionic spinal cord”, records brain activity and converts the signals into electrical commands.
