OPEC is on the verge of extending its production cuts for an additional nine months, pushing the deal through the end of 2018.
But the determination to keep the cuts in place comes at the same time that U.S. shale seems to be accelerating in response to higher oil prices.

It was not, under any circumstances, related to the statement that former FBI Director James Comey made just 6 days later clearing Hillary Clinton of any alleged crimes related to his agency's investigation.

Did you know that the number of retail store closings in 2017 has already tripled the number from all of 2016?
Last year, a total of 2,056 store locations were closed down, but this year more than 6,700 stores have been shut down so far.
