Israel’s Defense Minister has claimed that Syrian government forces have been using chemical weapons against civilians since the start ceasefire. While it is possible that chemical weapons have been used during the truce, it is doubtful that President Assad’s government would be the ones using them. US Vice President Announces Israel Visit To Discuss New Military Deal

The US Vice President will be meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv next week to discuss a new military deal. Joe Biden’s office announced his upcoming two-day trip on Wednesday, saying that he will also meet with the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Press TV reports: Moreover, the VP would pay a visit to the city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank city of Ramallah in the occupied lands, as part of a broader Middle East tour that includes stops in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Iranians Seal Their Mouths Shut In Silent Protest At Calais Jungle

Desperate Iranian migrants at the Calais jungle refugee camp in France stitch their lips together in protest. For a third successive day a large swathe of the shanty town is being bulldozed and dismantled by the French authorities. The Mirror reports: At least five Iranian men have already stitched their lips at the slum, where bulldozers were today clearing ramshackle homes for a third successive day. They have done so to signify that their voices are not being heard by the French authorities.

Kurdish Snipers Kill 13 ISIS Militants In One Day

Kurdish fighters from the People’s Protection Units (YPG) have killed at least 13 ISIS terrorists in the space of 24 hours, a spokesman for the YPG has confirmed.  “Sniping operations in the ISIS-held Jarablus city continued until Tuesday midnight. At least 13 ISIS terrorists were killed today at the hands of our snipers,” officer Nuraddin Gaban told Kurdish News Agency. Abna24.com reports: Snipers from the YPG, supported by fellow fighters from the Kurdish Women’s Protection Units (YPG), took position at the top of a hill in the eastern suburb of Jarablus city in northern Aleppo.
