With January just around the corner, the world's billionaires, CEOs, politicians and oligarchs prepare to take their private planes to Davos, Switzerland for their annual convocation at the World Economic Forum, where they discuss such diverse topics as global warming due to greenhouse gases (which exempts Gulfstream jets) and the dangers of record wealth inequality (which exempts them), while snacking on $39 hot dogs and $50 Caesar salads.

 

 

Shocking Report Says World’s Fish Being Replaced With Plastic Junk

A report by the World Economic Forum says that plastic junk in the world’s oceans will soon outweigh fish by the year 2015.  According to the shocking report, the worldwide use of plastic has increased 2000% in the last 50 years, and is expected to double in the next 20 years. Washingtonpost.com reports: By 2050, we’ll be making more than three times as much plastic stuff as we did in 2014.
