Kelly Loses Control Again As Trump Retweets, Then Deletes, User Calling Him A Fascist

Judging by this morning's presidential twitter blooper reel we can only assume that General Kelly didn't make the trip to New York City with President Trump last night.

Trump's latest unforced error came when he attempted to retweet a Fox & Friends story which said that he was considering a presidential pardon for former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.  Unfortunately, he inadvertently retweeted someone's response to the story who had called Trump a fascist.

Meanwhile, in just the latest bad news for Twitter shareholders, it seems as though Trump has cost the company another user.

For those who missed it, Trump told Fox News over the weekend that he was "seriously considering" a pardon for Sheriff Joe Arpaio after he was found guilty of criminal intent for refusing to suspend traffic patrols that intentionally targeted immigrants.  Per The Hill:

Trump told Fox News he is "seriously considering" a pardon for Arpaio, the former sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz.

Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt last month after he was ordered to stop racially profiling Latinos in his Maricopa County office.

“I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio,” Trump told Fox News at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club, where he had been staying during a vacation.

“He has done a lot in the fight against illegal immigration. He’s a great American patriot and I hate to see what has happened to him.”

The former sheriff endorsed Trump last year and appeared with him on the campaign trail.

Meanwhile, there was also this now-deleted retweet from President Trump this morning that apparently triggered alot of folks.

Seems as though General Kelly is urgently needed at the Trump residence in Trump Tower.
