An American television crew that have been missing for the last 14 years may have left behind video evidence of an ancient city in Antarctica, according to archaeologist Jonathan Gray. The Californian TV crew went missing in 2002 after filming a mission by U.S. Navy SEALs in Antarctica. According to Johnathan Gray, who runs Archaeology News Flash, the video left behind by the TV crew has been blocked by the U.S. government from being aired. “The U.S. government said it will seek to block the airing of a video found by Navy rescuers in Antarctica that purportedly reveals that a massive archaeological dig is underway two miles (3,200 meters) beneath the ice,” a spokesman from the production company who represent the crew said at the time of their disappearance.
