On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump dismissed a secret CIA assessment of Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election as “conspiracy theory”. A day earlier, during a Sunday TV interview Trump brushed off allegations that Russian hackers influenced the election results in his favour as “ridiculous”.
