Watch Live: Equifax CEO vs Elizabeth Warren

Following a fiery hearing yesterday, in which Senate Banking Committee member Elizabeth Warren told Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan that "you should be fired" because "at best you were incompetent, at worst you were complicit," the Massachusetts Democrat is back for day two, and this time she has her sights set on Richard Smith, the former Chairman and CEO of the scandal-ridden Equifax in a hearing titled β€œAn Examination of the Equifax Cybersecurity Breach.”

Needless to say, Smith is likely to face rather heated questioning as the testifies about the data breach that compromised the personal identifying information of 145.5 million people. On Tuesday, he already told the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Tuesday that he accepted full responsibility for the problems... although that did not prompt him to forfeit any of his $90 million golden parachute.

Warren has publicly criticized Equifax's "delayed and lackluster" response to the breach. She introduced a bill that would prevent credit reporting companies from profiting off customer information during a credit freeze. We expect more fireworks today.

Smith's prepared remarks can be found here.
