The Clinton foundation took millions of dollars from fossil fuel giants, yet this past week Mrs Clinton snapped at a Greenpeace activist, claiming to be “sick” of such allegations. The former Secretary of State recently blew her top at an environmental activist who had dared ask if she would stop taking money from oil and other fossil fuel companies. “I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I’m sick of it.” However, Clinton reportedly received between $2.5 million and $3 million directly from major fossil fuel companies when she was running for president in 2008, and during her time as head of the State Department, according to a research conducted by International Business Times. According to RT: IBT reported that Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and ExxonMobil all contributed funds to Clinton’s campaign and super PAC during her 2008 presidential bid, just a year before she approved the 400-mile Alberta Clipper pipeline, for which those three companies had long been lobbying. All three companies reportedly made substantial investments in developing the Canadian oil sands served by the Alberta Clipper during the time leading up to the Clinton-led State Department reviewing and approving the deal.
