ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Ohio State University that resulted in 11 people being stabbed and 1 person shot dead. The Islamic State described 18-year-old Abdul Razak Ali Artan, who carried out the attack, as one of its “soldiers.” Breitbart.com reports: The Islamic State’s al-Amaq news agency issued a statement making the claim.
As reported earlier, the man behind today's gruesome attack at Ohio State University, in which he plowed a car into a crowd of people on campus and subsequently attacked bystanders with a butcher’s knife, and which some suggested was inspired by recent ISIS propaganda, was identified as 19 year old naturalized Somali Refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan.

Following today's attack at Ohio State University, CBS is reporting that the sole suspect is an OSU student who was a Somali refugee. His name has not been released.

A suspect is dead and at least nine injured about an hour after an active shooter situation was reported at Ohio State University. It's unclear if there are more suspects at large.
Meanwhile, the shelter in place at the university has been lifted and the area has been declared secure.
