Bernie Sanders has slammed low Internet speeds for users in the US by making a comparison between America and Romania. The US democratic presidential candidate tweeted on Wednesday that “High-speed Internet access is no longer a luxury. It’s crucial for rural America to be connected and do business with the rest of the world” Press TV reports: “Today, people living in Bucharest, Romania, have access to much faster Internet than most of the US,” he later wrote, adding, “that’s unacceptable and must change,” without explaining why he chose Romania for comparison.

While the FBI and Apple continue to fight in court over encryption and public privacy, Amazon has discreetly disabled encryption on all of its products so that consumers are no longer able to protect their data on Android-powered devices.  Amazon has ceased its support for device encryption on the latest version of Fire OS – an operating system used to power its tablets and phones – leaving them open for the government and hackers to easily access user data.

It has been scientifically proven that the Earth undergoes a full geomagnetic reversal, or pole shift, around every 780,000 years. Scientists have discovered a 10 millisecond-long “fast radio bursts”, coming from deep in space, and have been left baffled as to where it is coming from.  A new study has revealed that these mysterious radio signals are sometimes sent out in a repetitive pattern – leading some experts to hypothesise that they may be encoded alien messages.
