Newt Gingrich Demands Investigation Into DNC Staffer’s Murder

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is demanding an official investigation into the murder of Seth Rich, the DNC staffer who blew the whistle on election fraud within the party.  Seth was shot near his home in Washington DC last month in very suspicious circumstances, and as yet the killer has not been found. His death followed his public revelation that the Democratic National Committee had committed election fraud during this years Democratic primaries in order to ensure a Hillary Clinton victory.

Making a Murderer Conviction Overturned, Brendan Dassey Freed

A US judge has overturned the murder conviction of Brendan Dassey, the nephew of Steven Avery who was wrongly accused of murder in Netflix’s hit documentary Making a Murderer.  Dassey is expected to be released within the next 90 days, unless Wisconsin state decide they want to try him. BBC News reports: Dassey and his uncle Steven Avery were convicted of murdering young woman Teresa Hallbach in 2005. Avery and Dassey, who was 16 at the time, were sentenced to life in prison.

CENTOM Faked Intelligence On ISIS

According to a government task force report, intelligence gathered by the U.S. Central Command (CENTOM) included false and manipulated data on ISIS.  The report, released on Thursday, shows that CENTOM attempted to portray their fight against ISIS in Syria and Iraq as more successful than was true. CBS News reports: The report finds that, beginning in mid-2014, final intelligence reports issued by CENTCOM contradicted the initial internal assessments made by its own analysts, reports CBS News correspondent Jim Axelrod.

School Sued Over Handcuffing Of 6 Year Old Girl Who Stole Candy

A mother is suing Chicago Public Schools following the handcuffing and illegal detention of her 6-year-old daughter by an abusive security guard.  The incident occurred after the child allegedly “stole” candy from a teachers desk.  She was handcuffed by a guard and detained near the schools’ boiler room under the stairs. Rt.com reports: The incident reportedly occurred at Fernwood Elementary School back in March after the child took some candy from the teacher’s desk without permission.

Over 2,000 Children In Australian Camp Report Sexual Abuse

Over 2,000 incidents of sexual abuse and physical assaults have been reported at an Australian detention center for asylum seeker in Nauru.  A shocking leaked document shows the horrific level of abuse suffered over the last two years at the center on tiny Nauru, one of two detention centers run by the Australian government. Yahoo News reports: The closely protected camps, and Australia’s hard-line immigration policy against illegal boat arrivals, have been widely criticized by the United Nations and human rights groups.
