The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that health officials are monitoring nearly 300 pregnant women infected with the Zika virus across the U.S. and its territories. RT reports: Health officials are keeping tabs on 157 pregnant women who have been infected within the 50 US states, the CDC said on Friday. That is more than three times higher than the CDC previously reported on May 11, when it said that 48 pregnant women in the US had the virus.
That the Great America PAC raised $514k in April in support of Donald Trump isn't very surprising, what is surprising however, is the fact that 81% of those funds came from donors giving less than $200.
The PAC was established in early February, and during that month it raised $74k with just 22% from small donors. In March the PAC gained some momentum, collecting $479k in total donations, but the percentage of small donors was similar to January, coming in at 24%.
