We discuss a preview of January`s Earnings releases and how massive the gap down in most of these stocks will be when they report in a month. There have already been two earning`s guide downs from industrial companies this past week in UTX, and HON.
Three California towns are currently suing Monsanto for poisoning San Francisco Bay with PCBs, chemicals known to cause cancer. Many involved in the lawsuit hope the court’s ultimate decision will make it easier for other cities across the US to hold companies, like Monsanto, liable for environmental damage. Until now, companies that cause long-term damage are rarely, if ever considered “at fault” by the US Government.

Now that’s a screaming case of the pot calling the kettle black if there ever was one. Mitt Romney has lashed out at The Donald for being a “phony and fraud”, but consider this. During his 16-years at Bain Capital, fully one-fourth or $600 million of the firms cumulative $2.5 billion of profits were scalped from companies which went bankrupt soon after Mitt and his partners got out of town with the loot.
