Having fallen just shy of victory in the first round of votes, the establishment favorite former Labor Secretary Tom Perez (and Obama/Clinton loyalist) has defeated Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee in a blow to Bernie Sanders and the progressive wing of the party.
Pandering to demographic shifts, the democratic party has made the white male persona non grata in America. In fact, through their media shills, they've made him, and all white people for that matter, the horrible target for overt and hateful racism. This brand of putrid behavior should never be acceptable by civilized people. It wasn't right when white people were doing it to blacks in the past and it's not right for white people to be doing it to white people now.

Former Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi announced today that he would call a PD party congress, effectively putting his role as party leader into question.
In his speech, Renzi stated “Some people wanted a party congress to find an alternative to Renzi-ism. It needs to be done as an alternative to Trump-ism, Le Pen-ism and even Grillo-ism.”

Yes, of course, Trump winning the GOP nomination marks the end of the party as we know it. After all, some neocons are already publicly and actively throwing their support behind Hillary. While this undoubtably represents a major turning point in U.S. political history, many pundits have yet to appreciate that the exact same thing is happening within the Democratic Party. It’s just not completely obvious yet.
