With Trump preparing to steamroll the competition in today's all important primaries, where a victory in Florida is now all but assured and only a Kasich challenge in Ohio can potentially spoil the day for the Donald - if Trump wins Florida and Ohio, it's over - earlier today he got some more good news to propell him even further.
The Democratic Party fight between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders—one likely to extend through the very last primaries if not all the way to the convention—might be compared to the contest between Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford in 1976. A beloved movement figure is taking on an exhausted yet entrenched establishment, running much better than anyone expected. But like Reagan, even in defeat, Sanders clearly represents the future of the party.

Trump put on a respectable, if less spectacular performance on Saturday, prevailing in Louisiana and Kentucky but falling to Ted Cruz in Kansas and Maine. As Bloomberg writes, “Trump’s victories also were narrower than polling had indicated, suggesting that attacks on his crude language and ill-defined policies from 2012 nominee Mitt Romney and others could be having an impact.”

Former independent Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, who says he is leaning towards supporting U.S. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders for president in 2016, indicated that he is considering getting into the presidential race if Sanders fails to win the Democratic primary.
In a Monday interview with The Daily Beast, Ventura said that he will likely launch a run for president by June if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defeats Sanders.
