Uber Gets Cease & Desist Letter From DMV After Its Self-Driving Car Is Caught Running A Red Light

As reported earlier, in an attempt to demonstrate how advanced (and safe) Uber's "self-driving" technology is, the company rolled out a trial of its self-driving Volvo XC90 cars in San Francisco, the second city it has done so after Pittsburgh. However, in a surprising twist, Uber did not obtain a preapproval from the California DMV, perhaps in an attempt to avoid making a public disclosure of any potential infractions its cars might got into.

Doomsday Plane Captured Circling Around Trump Towers, New York

Residents of New York City reported seeing a military Doomsday Plane flying close to the Trump Towers late Tuesday afternoon.  According to multiple reports on Twitter, either a Boeing E-4B (Doomsday Plane) or a C-130 (military plane) were spotted and filmed circling the air around midtown for over an hour before leaving the airspace. The secretive Doomsday Plane (also known as the National Airborne Operations Center) is a U.S. government plane designed to keep the US government running in the event of a nuclear war.

Scientists are warning that the Earth appears to be “ringing like a bell” following a series of large earthquakes near the Pacific.  8 hours after the Thursday earthquakes off the coast of California, seismograms shows the globe mysteriously vibrating and “ringing like a bell,” which scientists have warned is a precursor to a much bigger mega-earthquake. 176,000 Gallons Of Crude Oil Allowed To Spill Over Dakota Camp

A staggering 176,000 gallons of crude oil was allowed to spill near the Dakota Access Pipeline camp where protestors are camped out. According to the North Dakota Health Department, electronic monitoring equipment failed to detect a rupture in the pipeline, allowing it to spew thousands of gallons of crude oil in the nearby North Dakota creek, located just two and a half hours from Cannon Ball where protestors are camped out.
