The entire star-studded audience at the Golden Globes practically cried in unison, after Meryl Streep took to the mic to lament over an incident that happened last year regarding what she thought was Donald Trump mocking a disabled reporter.
 
The rift was with NY Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who said Trump was lying about witnessing Muslims celebrating in New Jersey after 9/11 -- which later proved out to be true. Without delving into old news, Trump said he wasn't making fun of Serge's physical disabilities, but instead mocking a reporter who was flustered.
 

Rasmussen Poll: CNN Now ‘Least Trusted’ News Network

Weeks after recording their lowest ratings since ratings began, CNN have been hit with more bad news. According to a nationwide Rasmussen poll, CNN are now the least trusted news network in the United States. The survey, conducted by Rasmussen Reports, found that 75 percent of likely voters watch at least some cable news each week. Of those, 42 percent watch Fox News, 35 percent CNN and 19 percent MSNBC. Among cable news network viewers who watch Fox News most often, 50% say they trust the political news they are getting.

Senior Detectives Investigating George Michael’s Death

Thames Valley Police issued a press release today saying that they are looking to “establish facts” and are “taking statements” in relation to the death of singer George Michael. The singer was found dead at his home on Christmas Day, aged just 53. A post-mortem into his death was said to be inconclusive, though initial reports said he had died from heart failure. Micheal’s partner Fadi Fawaz was interviewed by officers this week who say they are trying to trace everyone who visited his Oxfordshire mansion in the week before he died.

Celebs Call On Congress To "Obstruct Racist, Sexist, Xenophobic" Trump

A number of disaffected Hollywood celebs, including Sally Field, Rosie Perez, “Westworld’s” Jeffrey Wright, and “Boardwalk Empire” actor Steve Buscemi, have utilized the former pro-Hillary social media group known as "Humanity for Hillary" to create yet another attack message aimed at President-elect Trump. In this latest message, which refers to Trump as "racist, sexist and xenophobic," the disaffected Hollywood snowflakes call on Congress to "vigorously oppose" and "obstruct" Trump on any policy that "violates our core values as diverse Americans."
