In true Orwellian newspeak, despite the lowest level of trust among the public, CNN's CEO proclaims they are the most-trusted; and to prove it, the 'news' network is hiring a reporter to cover "fake news."

Obviously worried that his network won't get a seat at the "big boy" table after Jim Acosta's recent on-air spat with President-elect Trump, CNN President Jeff Zucker defended his network's "credibility" in a recent interview with New York Magazine. Dr Udo Ulfkotte, the journalist and author, who spoke out about mainstream and fake news, reportedly died from a heart attack on January 13th at the age of 56. The former editor of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of largest newspapers in Germany, had admitted that he -in effect- ‘worked’ for the CIA and that he had been educated to lie to and betray the public. The BBC has come under fire after an “extremely biased” anti-Trump documentary aired on Monday night accusing the President-elect of being a Russian spy. The BBC’s flagship investigative documentary programme Panorama aired a 30-minute show entitled, “Trump: The Kremlin Candidate?” which purported to investigate Trump’s “strange relationship” with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Anti-Trump journalist John Sweeney hosted the show, and explored the so-called “bromance” between the two world leaders.
