Thousands Protest Against Monsanto In Argentina

Thousands took to the streets of the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires on Friday to protest against Monsanto and its activities in the rural town of Malvinas Argentinas. The agro-industrial corporation has been planning to build the world’s biggest maize seed treatment plant in the location.. RT reports: Protests were also held in other cities across Argentina. Protesters marched in support of an activists’ camp, which is blocking the Monsanto-owned property in Malvinas Argentinas in the Cordoba region. The camp recently received an eviction notice from the authorities.

Donald Trump can’t be too happy with the UK at the moment….or maybe it’s the other way round A petition calling to ban him from the UK was approved for a parliamentary debate earlier in the week and now the billionaire tycoon faces fines from the British environment agency over carbon emissions from one of his private jets. RT reports: Trump is one of a number of businessmen and companies fined for failing to “surrender sufficient allowances to cover annual reportable emissions” by the Environment Agency.

Huge Explosion Rocks Chemical Plant In Southern China

A mountain lion with a second set of teeth growing out of its head was found in Idaho, which scientists are saying may have been caused by Fukushima nuclear radiation arriving from across the Pacific ocean.  While experts have not been able to agree on the cause for the weird mutation, they fear that radiation may be the most obvious cause. Superstation95.com reports: Regional wildlife biologist Zach Lockyer told Idaho State Journal the unusual deformity had left experts stumped. ‘It’s a bizarre situation and a bizarre photo,’ he added.

Scientists at the site of “supervolcano” Yellowstone have warned that there is a chance the volcano could erupt this volcano season, which would end up killing millions of people worldwide, and devastating the planet.  The scientists have warned that instances of volcanic eruptions are their highest for 300 years at the moment, and there is a 10% change of Yellowstone erupting this year.
