With general elections scheduled in France, Germany and the Netherlands this year amid an increase in support for anti-euro rhetoric, European bonds from Germany to Greece saw yields surge in January. In fact, as Bloomberg notes, euro-region bonds handed investors the worst start to a year on record.

A mathematician from Kansas says she has uncovered evidence of widespread election fraud from this year’s election and claims government officials are trying to silence her. According to Wichita State mathematician Beth Clarkson, irregularities in election returns from across the United States are being ignored by State officials in order to cover-up the magnitude of election fraud committed. Accmag.com reports: Analyzing election returns at a precinct level, Clarkson found that candidate support was correlated, to a statistically significant degree, with the size of the precinct.

New data released yesterday revealed that voting machines in 37% of all Detroit precincts, which skew heavily democratic, registered more votes than they had of actual voters showing up at the polls.
