Two weeks after a "secret" Israeli military cable leaked, indicating coordination between Israel and Saudi Arabia over Syria and constituting the first formal proof that the Saudis and Israelis are deliberately coordinating to escalate the situation in the Middle East, by using Syria as a false flag scapegoat, moments ago the IDF announced that an Israeli tank had fired upon Syrian army positions near the Israeli border in the Golan Heights on Sunday, following what the IDF called a "violation of the 1974 ceasefire."

US, Russia Agree On "Iran-Free Zone" In Syria

Multiple Israeli news outlets reported Saturday that the US, Russia, and Jordan have reached a ceasefire agreement over southern Syria which proposes to expel Iran-backed militias from the border with Israel in the Golan Heights. The reports came on the same day presidents Trump and Putin issued a joint statement on Syria after meeting on the sidelines of the APEC conference in Danang, Vietnam, which reaffirmed de-confliction efforts as both countries fight ISIS and underscored willingness to keep Syria's territorial integrity intact while pursuing the Geneva process.

Israel Strikes Syrian Government Position In Golan Heights

Israel struck a Syrian military position after a tank shell landed in an open area in the occupied Golan Heights. The IDF fired on a Syrian government position on Wednesday night after a tank shell landed in uninhabited Israeli territory during reported clashes between Syrian government and rebel forces. The shell casued no casualties. The IDF did not specify how it attacked the Syrian post, but Syrian media said that Israeli helicopters attacked the position. Press TV reports: Tel Aviv has targeted the region several times over the past few years.

Israel Jails Syrians For Blocking Ambulance Carrying Al-Nusra Militants

Two Syrians living in the occupied Golan Heights have been sentenced to jail by an Israeli military court for blocking an Israeli ambulance that was transporting al-Nusra militants for treatment. Syria’s official news agency SANA reported that on Thursday the court sentenced Amal Abu Saleh to seven years and eight months in jail and issued a fine of more than 3,000 dollars. The other Syrian, Bashira Mahmoud was sentenced to 22 months in prison. She was fined 1,000 dollars.
