Over 25,000 people are now confirmed as being infected with the Zika virus in Colombia, with 3,100 of them being pregnant women, President Juan Manuel announced over the weekend.  As the disease continues to ravage the America’s Brazil is investigating the link between Zika and microcephaly, a birth defect marked by an unusually small head size. Alarabiya.net reports: Researchers have identified evidence of Zika infection in 17 of these cases, either in the baby or in the mother, but have not confirmed that Zika can cause microcephaly.

An insider from the Ministry of Health in Russia has revealed that an explosive report is being prepared that will be presented to the Kremlin on Tuesday regarding the huge vaccination cover-up being perpetuated by the US government agencies and its regulatory bodies, which is having disastrous consequences around most of the world. It is understood President Putin personally requested the report.

A new ‘scientific study’ claims that diet soda’s are healthier to drink than water.  The scientists who conducted the study were found to have been funded directly from the sugar industry, or were employed by sugar manufacturers, and outrageously claimed that artificial sweeteners such as aspartame were better for humans than water. Wddty.com reports: The researchers based their findings on a survey of previously-published papers, many of which were tests on laboratory rats.

A study led by Dr. Nancy Swanson and Andrew Leu of the  International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) has concluded that glyphosate – the main ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup – is deadly to humans.  The study determined that the herbicide is lethal even in tiny amounts, which confirms that low level exposure to the toxin can damage your health. Naturalnews.com reports: The study, titled “Genetically engineered crops, glyphosate and the deterioration of health in the United States of America,” was published in the Journal of Organic Systems.

New concerns have emerged over Zika as it’s feared the virus can be sexually transmitted and could impact blood donations. The National Health Service (NHS) has banned travelers from donating blood for 28 days after returning from countries that are currently hit by Zika in order to prevent the virus from spreading. Doctors have also blocked organ donations from those who have recently traveled to countries with a high incidence of Zika.
