Las Vegas

Dear Readers: to reiterate, I do not know what happened in Las Vegas and do not expect to be able to find out. I understand that this is a subject of interest to you, but I have no explanation for you. My own opinion is that, if it were a staged operation, authorities responsible will put out many different explanations on the Internet, so that skeptics will be divided by their choices of the explanation. In other words, multiple conspiracy theories will kill unity of skepticism that possibly could produce a full account.

The Center for Community Change Action (CCCA), a Washington, D.C.-based 501 (c)(3) progressive community organizing group and contributor to the anti-Trump "Resistance" movement, counts some of the most prominent American families among its impressive donor base.  Unfortunately, at least for those donors, their staggering contributions to the secretive group have just been revealed by The Washington Free Beacon and include massive multi-million dollar grants from George Soros, the Kellogg Foundation and the Ford Foundation, among others.

A snarky elitist librarian from Cambridge, Mass. responded to First Lady Melania Trump’s gift of Dr. Seuss books with a condescending screed about how Dr. Seuss is racist – recommending Mrs. Trump should instead gift the (racist) books to underprivileged children.

In an early morning interview with Fox News, Trump unloaded on the NFL protests and once again said that owners need to enact rules that prohibit players from protesting the national anthem or suffer the inevitable ratings collapse that will come if they don't.  Asked why the owners haven't already taken action, Trump went to say that he believes the owners are "afraid of their players."
