Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley fired off a letter late Wednesday to the DOJ, asking Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to explain several disturbing revelations contained within anti-Trump text messages sent between FBI investigators Peter Strzok and his FBI-Attorney mistress Lisa Page - both of whom were central to the Clinton email investigation and the Trump-Russia probe, and both of whom were removed from Robert Mueller's Special counsel when their text messages came to light.

Just hours after Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi took to NBC’s “Meet the Press” to defend accused serial sexual harasser John Conyers, asserting that Conyers is entitled to due process and adding that she ultimately believes he will “do the right thing,” the 88-year-old Congressman and civil-rights leader has begrudgingly announced that he will step aside as ranking member of the powerful House Judiciary Committee as an ethics probe against him ramps up.

After being accused in a letter earlier this week sent by the leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee of failing to turn over emails from September 2016 pertaining to a range of topics including Wikileaks, it appears Kushner is being punished for his obstinance with a series of embarrassing leaks presumably from the same committee that publicly chastised him only days before (bonus points for subtlety).

Now that obstructionist lawmakers have finally relented, Congressional efforts to investigate nefarious activities involving Democrats are finally moving forward following several bombshell revelations that the FBI may have turned a blind eye to controversial, potentially criminal actions involving powerful Democrats when FBI Director James Comey drafted a letter absolving Hillary Clinton and closing the bureau’s investigation into her alleged mishandling of classified information before she had even been interviewed.
