US Citizens Can Now Be Arrested By Immigrants On American Soil

United States citizens can now be arrested on American soil by immigrants, after the Denver Sheriff Department was ordered to begin hiring non-citizens. The Denver Sheriff Department had previously made U.S. citizenship a job requirement for its deputies. Now they have been ordered to pay a fine, identify non-citizens who have been “discriminated against” in the past, and begin hiring immigrants.

Ever a big fan of unilateral "rule changes," back in May of this year Obama and the Department of Labor implemented a new overtime regulation that was set to take effect on December 1st.  The rule change called for increasing the minimum salary threshold at which employers would have been required to pay overtime to workers from $23,660 to $47,476, or a mere 101%.  The rule would have required employers to pay time-and-a-half to salaried workers making less than $47,476 per year for any time worked in excess of 40 hours per week.  According to the Wall Street Journal, the new regula

Vladimir Putin withdrew Russia’s support of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Wednesday due to its bias against non-Western nations.  The ICC was set up in 1998 by the United Nations General Assembly, in order to prosecute individuals for crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. However, the court has come under heavy criticism from various African nations who say the court is persecuting African leaders without any evidence. Norwegian Police Arrest 20 Men In Pedo Ring

Police in Norway have arrested 20 people they say belong to a huge pedophile ring involving an estimated 51 people.  Norwegian police are investigating the pedo ring that they say involves infants and one suspect who abused his own children. Nytimes.com reports: Deputy Police Chief Gunnar Floystad says that in Norway’s largest abuse case to date they have arrested 20 men so far, with three convictions, in western Norway. The 31 other suspects are from other regions in Norway. Floystad told reporters Sunday that many of the suspects are highly educated, and include lawyers and politicians.
