The investigation into claims that a Westminster VIP paedophile ring abused and murdered children in the 1970s and 80s has been closed by the Metropolitan Police. Operation Midland was closed after the last living suspect, former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor, was told he would face no charges. The inquiry that cost over £1.8 million ended without a single person being arrested. The Anti Media reports: According to the Met Police, no evidence was found that children were abused and murdered by an array of accused politicians that included former heads of the army and intelligence chiefs.

Israel's Cellebrite Revealed As Company Helping FBI Hack iPhone Encryption

In the aftermath of the FBI's surprising request on Monday to postpone a hearing in its legal crusade to unlock Apple cellphones, many wondered who it was that had succeeded in penetrating the supposedly unhackable smartphone. Earlier today Reuters provided the answer: the FBI's effort is being assisted by Israel's Cellebrite, a provider of mobile forensic software, which is now helping the Feds in their attempt to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino, California shooters, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Elderly Marijuana Dealer Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison

An 80-year-old man who was the head of a massive marijuana dealing program which covered several states, according to Salem News, has records that go back to 1992. Now, the man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison: Marshall Dion pleaded guilty last year to drug and money-laundering charges, and Tuesday’s sentencing in Massachusetts was the latest chapter in a long, colorful history with law enforcement. In 1985, he crashed a single-engine plane he was piloting in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, breaking both his ankles.

Kyle Odom, a Marine veteran who is the prime suspect in the case of a pastor who was shot 12 times but survived. Odom alleges, according to a report in the Express, that frog-like Martian aliens with telepathic abilities were the true culprits behind his recent crime spree: Kyle Odom, 30, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder by secret service agents after they saw him toss something over the iron fence at the front of the White House.
