And just like that the narrative of Russia hacking the presidential election has escalated to the highest possible level, and has officially jumped the shark.

On Monday, Markos “kos” Moulitsas, founder of the highly trafficked Daily Kos website penned an article that many have found deeply offensive titled, Be Happy for Coal Miners Losing Their Health Insurance. They’re Getting Exactly What They Voted for. Here’s some of what he wrote:

For 20 years Huma Abedin faithfully served Hillary Clinton, starting as a White House intern straight out of college during Bill's administration and rising to become her deputy chief of staff at the State Department (we can't even begin to imagine the amazing things she's witnessed).  In a New York Times Magazine article back in 2014, one Clinton aide described the relationship as an "amalgamation of adviser, best friend, confidante, and perhaps even surrogate daughter."

President Bashar al-Assad has accused the US of sponsoring terrorist groups in Syria by labeling them ‘moderate opposition’. In an interview with the Russian TV channels, Russia 24 and NTV, the Syrian Presided said the United States tried to promote the idea of so-called moderate opposition in Syria.

With the exception of the Fed statement, the biggest event of the day was Donald Trump's mega technology summit in New York on Wednesday which hosted leaders of tech companies to provide an olive branch and attempt to bury a past, in which most of Silicon Valley was a firm supporter of Hillary Clinton.
