As readers know, I have seen some optimism in voters support for Trump and Sanders as neither are members of the corrupt Republican and Democratic political establishments. Members of both political establishments enrich themselves by betraying the American people and serving only the interest of the One Percent. The American people are being driven into the ground purely for the sake of more mega-billions for a handful of super-rich people.

Mainstream headlines constantly decry Bernie Sanders supporters for disrupting events in outrage, as if their protests and demonstrations somehow illustrate the devolution of the elections. But that focus by the corporate media utterly negates the consistent and continual reports of fraud and disenfranchisement fueling their ire.

And it’s getting ridiculous.

NATO has deployed military personnel and weapons on the Russian border in readiness to declare war on Russia, according to Mike Billington, Asia editor for the Executive Intelligence Review.  According to Billington Russia is making the necessary plans to fight World War 3, possibly as early as this summer. Turkey is on the verge of a full military coup under Erdogan’s rule, experts have warned.  The situation in Turkey is rapidly deteriorating. Private debt is spiralling out of control, tourism is at an all-time low and Turkey’s currency continues to decline. Syrian Free Press reports: The 2013 Gezi protests and corruption charges against the government, the 2014 presidential election and two general elections in 2015 have put the Turkish economy under stress. Turkey’s annual growth rate, which for 50 years had averaged 4.5%, remained at an average 3% in the past four years.

Lawyers representing five men accused of aiding the 9/11 attacks have said the U.S. government secretly destroyed evidence relating to the attacks which could prove their innocence.  On May 11, defense lawyers asked judge Col. James Pohl to shut the case down after classified evidence emerged of a government cover-up. Activistpost.com reports: Major Poteet also told the Times that the defense was first informed in February that Colonel Pohl would provide them with a “summary of a substitute” for the original, classified evidence.
