In November 2014, The Obama administration announced a proposal to try and grant a proactive three-year stay of deportation and legal work permits to as many as 5 million illegal immigrants. As a result, the state of Texas led a large group of states suing the government, arguing the proposal violated both federal law and overstepped the president's constitutional powers - in which Judge Andrew S. Hanen agreed with.

The situation in Iraq had already become very dangerous, as we reported in earlier in the month, after the Iraq PM ordered arrests in order to disband Green Zone protests.

As Reuters reports, Anti-government protesters are back at it, and have stormed into Baghdad's Green Zone, allegedly reaching the Council of Ministers building.

Following the recent ‘revelation’ that the CIA had accidentally destroyed their only copy of a top secret report on torture, exiled NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden was quick to point out that the spy agency never does anything by mistake. The central intelligence agency’s internal watchdog, told Congress that the electronic copy of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s 6,700-page report and a hard disk were both mistakenly destroyed last year.

Appearing on Morning Joe, Trump repeated his claim that he wouldn’t have intervened in Libya. That is a completely different position from the one he took five years ago. Joe Scarborough later corrected the record:

American media has repeatedly likened GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump to France's far-right Front-National party leader, and frontrunner in polling for the French 2017 presidential election, Marine Le Pen and while the forthright French politician has not explicitly named a "preferable" candidate for US president, her comments today suggest it is not Hillary Clinton.
