Within hours of Brussels giving the green light on Merkel’s ill-advised deal with Turkey, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan sacked sacked Ahmet Davutoglu, the prime minister who negotiated the deal with German chancellor Angela Merkel.

Neocon journalist Jennifer Rubin has said that she is afraid that Donald Trump will select Ron Paul to be Secretary of State in a Trump administration. Rubin, a Washington Post journalist, is an ardent supporter of American military intervention and the ongoing war on terror. Florida Election Hacking Results In Criminal Proceedings

A young hacker says he managed to expose a serious security flaw on the Florida voting website, allowing potential election hacking to occur during the Presidential race.  David Levin, a political consultant and computer security expert, was charged by the state on three felony charges of unauthorized access to computer systems, which could see him serve a potential 15-year prison sentence. Levin insists the hacking of the online election system was designed to help the government to improve its security.

Labour Claim Election Fraud In Local UK Elections

A Labour councillor thwarted attempts of potential election fraud during local elections in Oxfordshire recently. Duncan Enright says he had initially lost his seat due to the fact that a bundle of votes were hidden under a pile for his Conservative rival. The Witney candidate luckily rectified the situation upon discovering the pile of ‘misplaced’ votes and won his seat. Independent.co.uk reports: He posted: “Lost by 70 votes or so. Thanks for the opportunity to serve. The fight goes on.” He soon after followed up by announcing: “Miscount in Witney East, result now in, I win by 70!
