The British Response To Obama "Why Should We Take Advice From A President Who Has Surrendered The World To Chaos?"

Following Obama's stunning foray into UK politics with his anti-Brexit oped (which surprised both the pro and anti-Brexit camp as there was little to be gained from Obama's gracious entrance of an elephant in a UK political China store) on Thursday evening, one person who had a rather visceral reaction was London Mayor Boris Johnson who slammed Obama's "hypocritical" Brexit diatribe and accused Obama "ancestral dislike of the British empire – of which Churchill had been such a fervent defender" on being part-Kenyan.

Now Clinton Urges Britain To Remain In European Union

Hillary Clinton has now stuck her oar into the Brexit debate, throwing her weight behind President Obama who advises that Britain should remain within the European Union (EU). No 10 welcomes latest backing ahead of 23 June referendum Obama has already drawn an angry response for telling the British people that they would be better off remaining within the Union. He has also threatened them with loss of American trade if they dare vote to leave Breitbart reports: But former secretary of state Hillary Clinton is not one of those critics.

Turkey Detain Dutch Journalist Over Erdogan Tweet

Police in Turkey detained a Dutch columnist over a tweet she posted that was deemed ‘critical’ of Turkish President Recep Erdogan. Ebru Umar a well know journalist of Turkish origin, was arrested at her home in Kusadasi, a resort town in western Turkey, early on Sunday and brought before a judge. A political storm erupted last week over reports that the Turkish consulate had requested that Turkish organisations in the Netherlands to forward emails and social media posts that insult Erdoğan or Turkey.
